Gemini® Heat Set Colors

All of the Gemini® colors are made with ingredients that are non-toxic and inherently UV-resistant, with no phthalates.

The pigments are Non-Hazardous and weather fast.

This paint cures at temperatures at or above 265° F for a duration of 8 minutes or longer. Heat sources may vary such as ovens, heat guns, irons, etc. Duration may vary depending on your heat source.

Use Gemini® Heat Set Thinning Medium to thin the colors or we encourage you to use one of the Gemini® Heat Set thinner and brush clears. Gemini® Heat Set Thinner is not a solvent based thinner. It is non flammable, non-toxic and was designed for this line. If you prefer a solvent based thinner Gemini® Heat Set Solvent is a extra mild highly purified odorless mineral spirit.

Gemini® Heat Set Paints are artist quality fine-art paints that come ready to apply without repeated pre-mixing. They stay wet until heated, making them more convenient than oils or acrylics. The paint will not dry when left in the open on a non-porous surface. They offer fine control in mixing, blending and application, and can be worked with or without the addition of mediums. They are very similar to oil paints in feel, opacity and translucence. We encourage you to experiment with your style to achieve the desired result.
